Dear Clive

I would just like to thank you and Jen’s help in the tutoring for Kai. He has only had 2 lessons at Power Tutoring but has already achieved full marks at Repton in both his spelling and math’s test. The previous weeks he only achieved a 50% grade. This has given him such confidence both at school and at home.

I was worried that it would be too much for him being as he’s only 5 years old and in school from 7.45-2.30. To then have extra tuition from 4pm-5pm, I thought it would be a bore for him but in fact it’s the complete opposite. He looks forward to going and says he really enjoys his time at Power Tutoring which I am thrilled with.

Thanks Clive and Jen and I certainly will be recommending you to all my friends.

I wanted to pass on to you how much I appreciate the time and effort you put into tutoring Samantha in  Maths, both this year and last.

I found you to be accommodating and flexible, tailoring your weekly lessons to meet her needs, and she found you warm and friendly, and really enjoyed working with you.  The extra effort put in by her, supported by you, has been of tremendous benefit to her.

What better achievement than your child coming home enthusiastically and telling you that he “loves” mathematics and can’t wait for the next lesson? That he gains confidence and even has fun solving math problems! That is exactly what happened after our son started taking math lessons at Power Tutoring.

And that was also exactly the initial problem: not enjoying the subject, lack of confidence in mathematics to the point of being afraid of it.

Dear Clive,

This letter is in appreciation of the wonderful job you are doing tutoring my daughter Sufiyah Sajan in Maths and English. Since Sufiyah started in January 2010 she has found greater success in these subjects at school. The time spent one on one really focusing on her needs and questions means that she is better prepared and can review things that she is unclear on. This helps immensely.

Sufiyah not only enjoys her time with Pauline but the ‘Safari’ project really got her excited about doing work because it appealed to her senses. The fact that she was rewarded tickets to the Tangled premiere added the icing on the cake.

We are very pleased parents. Thank you for a wonderful job!

Hi Clive,

I would like to thank Polly at Powertutoring for all the help she has given our son, Ethan. Ethan has been struggling with maths in grade 5 and that is why we decided to come to Powertutoring.

Polly, Ethan’s tutor, has helped him in so many ways. She has modified his tutor sessions to help him learn in his way. Today (he is now half way into grade 6) he brought home a maths quiz. He was bursting with pride because he had scored 100% on it. I am very thankful to Polly for all her hard work and positive re-enforcement to get Ethan to this point!

I am convinced that it is a combined effort from Ethan, Polly and help at home that has gotten him to this point. I am very sure that this trend will continue. In grade 6 his grade for Math’s has been improving with every quiz/test.
